What we collect, why we collect it, and how to tell us to stop.
Who we are
This site is operated by BodyBuilding B4 BodyBreaking, trading as B4 Fitness. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. If you have any question about this policy, or want to exercise any of the rights set out at the bottom of it, email skool@b4fitness.org.
What we collect and why
We only collect data you give us, plus anonymous usage data if you agree to analytics cookies.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and your message. We use it to answer you. The form is handled by Netlify Forms on our behalf.
- Free assessment form. The answers you give about your training, injury history and goals, along with your contact details and any photo or video you choose to upload. We use it to prepare your assessment and reply to you. Some of this is health-related information, so we only process it with your explicit consent, which you give by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
- Shop orders. Purchases are processed by Shopify, which collects your name, contact details, delivery address and payment details in order to take the order and ship it. We never see or store your full card details. Shopify's own privacy policy governs that processing.
- Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records anonymous data about your visit — pages viewed, approximate location by country or city, device and browser, and how you arrived. We use it to see which content is useful. It is never used to identify you.
- Skool community. Our community is hosted on Skool, a separate platform with its own account, terms and privacy policy. Joining it is a relationship between you and Skool; we only see what members share inside the community.
Our legal bases
- Consent — analytics cookies, and the health-related answers in the assessment form.
- Contract — processing and delivering an order you place in the shop.
- Legitimate interests — replying to an enquiry you send us, and keeping the site secure and working.
- Legal obligation — keeping order and tax records for as long as the law requires.
Cookies
Nothing but strictly necessary storage is set until you choose "Accept" in the cookie popup. Choosing "Reject", or closing the popup, means no analytics cookies are set at all — Google Analytics still receives an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which cannot be tied to you or to your next visit.
- Strictly necessary. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. Shopify sets storage to remember what is in your basket. These are required for the site to work and are not optional.
- Analytics (optional). Google Analytics sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies to tell repeat visits apart. They expire after two years, or sooner if you clear them.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working properly if you do.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run the site for us: Netlify (hosting and form handling), Shopify (the shop and checkout), Google (analytics), and Skool (the community). Each processes it on our instructions or under its own policy as described above. Some of them are based outside the UK, in which case transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of the advice we gave, and are deleted on request. Order records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email skool@b4fitness.org and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
